Dr. Seuss we love you...

Ok First off we had PJ day at school to celebrate Dr. Seuss day. All the kids wore their pj's and a lot of teachers, myself included, did too.
Leah wanted to have a seussical hair do and here were the first two contenders.

But later she decided she wanted more of a Cindy Lou Who do like this:

Yes we really went all the way with this hairdo! We combined the pipecleaner braids with the Cindy Lou Who and it turned out ok. We put a paper cup upside down on her hair for the big section, and then put one of Mikey's bouncy balls on top and pony tailed around it. Poor Mikey, Leah lost his ball during PE. Somehow it managed to fly off the top of her head! The school had Birthday cake for lunch, and two assemblies during the day. Leah is in the choir, and they preformed a few songs, one of them was Dr. Seuss we love you. Also in the morning assembly they read a Dr. Seuss book called Gerald McBoing Boing, a book about a little boy who makes sounds instead of talking. Part of the assembly was to have the students all make the sounds in the books. Sunday, while the sacrament was being passed, everyone was being quiet when all of a sudden Michael all of a sudden said, "Boing!" He didn't yell or anything, but even in a normal speaking voice, when the room is really quiet sound travels very well.
It's had to strangle your children when you want to laugh.
